WHAT IS EDUCATION ADVOCACY AWARENESS MONTH?This annual month-long event was initiated by In School Spirit, LLC and Community Empowerment Foundation, Inc. We have partnered with other educational advocates and individuals who are equally as passionate about quality education. Our goal was to build awareness of educational opportunities, advocacy and support through community building.
The entire month is dedicated to bringing individuals together and presenting the community with a variety of innovative programs and discussions that are geared towards empowering students and parents outside of the traditional school setting. This month’s focus is to connect those who are about the community schools and want to see a positive change in education reform. We support the empowerment of those who celebrate the value of education. This month we hope that you will be reminded of the following: that your voice is valuable, that your community and its members are invested in this area, and that the value of education and future opportunities can be nurtured inside and outside of school walls, year round and, and beyond just the academic focus.
