What does 40% represent in dekalb co.? #werepcollegeprepwhy
In Dekalb Co. approximately 40% of residents have a Bachelor's degree or higher. The ODDS are that this percentage will increase. Why? The assumption is that either people do not pursue continuing education as originally thought, or they do not finish the course. If this is true, there is much OPPORTUNITY to provide more ongoing support in the community for not only college prep but future planning. Check more amazing statistics here!
community support #werepcollegeprepwith
College Prep & Connect Clinic relies on the support of the community in order to encourage the motivation of the students who are in need. We partner with businesses and individuals who want to be accountable for this type of support (mainly voluntary). In establishing the community building aspect, this reinforces inside and outside of the classroom, the importance and support for the value of educational excellence. In understanding that progressive education extends beyond the school and home, Community Empowerment Foundation, Inc. uses these clinics to advocate for the stakeholders involved and is focused on building a cohesiveness that will help support the foundation that students need in order to be successful. If you would like to volunteer or donate your time to support a clinic we would love to have your support click here.
